If you receive a message that you are waiting for the host to start this meeting or webinar, it means that the host has not started the meeting. In the case of webinars, either the host has not started the webinar or the webinar is in practice mode and has not yet started to broadcast.
23 de ago. de 2021 · It turns out there's a default setting that does not allow participants to join before the host, so that even after the host joins, the participants (who receive a message telling them to wait until the host begins the meeting) are left in a waiting room indefinitely.

29 de abr. de 2022 · When you see the message “Waiting for host to start meeting” when trying to join a Zoom meeting, it simply means that the Zoom host has not yet started the meeting. In other words, they have not clicked on the “ Start Meeting ” button and initiated the session.

14 de jun. de 2020 · When they click the link they always receive a message saying that they are waiting for the host to start the meeting. It's never the same person from day to day and it affects them the entire length of the meeting.
15 de ago. de 2020 · On the day of the meeting (Tuesday), you will need to launch Zoom again and attempt to join the meeting. Zoom will not know anything about whether you attempted to join the meeting previously. So, in the meantime, you can close Zoom.
