15 de abr. de 2021 · Software like ViGEmBus, HidHide and older versions of BthPS3 got shipped with an auto-updater service that currently communicates with a server domains that won't belong to us anymore after the end of 2023. Because of this, the configuration of the updaters need to be adjust so they contact our new server domain from now on.
Moonlight is a client app (runs on the G Cloud) which originally connected to the Nvidia GameStream protocol (streams the display from a host PC). Nvidia ended GameStream, but the side project Sunshine replaces it as a server. QRes or ResolutionAutomation help with automatically changing res to 1080p while streaming, and back afterwards.
18 de abr. de 2021 · Find and right-click > Force Remove & remove all entries for:-- Vigembus-- Virtual Gamepad Emulation Bus Driver-- Nefarius Virtual Gamepad Emulation Bus DriverYou're technically only supposed to have one of these, but binary changes with previous issues has caused some duplicate / corrupt entries that need forcibly removed. Restart your computer.
27 de dez. de 2019 · Hmm no joy, when I try to install it ViGembus it says that I already have the latest version. And if DS4 trys to install it crashes. I have removed all instances of DS4, SPC toolkit and other Neferious software but it still won't install over the top of the (presumably broken) instance.
8 de abr. de 2021 · ViGEmBus Driver Will Not Install. After opening DS4Windows and navigating to Settings- Controller/Driver Setup, I click "Step 1: Install ViGEmBus Driver". This would tell me it's downloading then stop at about 95% and then just close on its own. After researching the problem I tried downloading ViGEmBus through github, attempting multiple ...
5 de abr. de 2021 · It'll say something like 97.4% done or 99.9% done and close out the initial setup window, and my controller will never show up. When I close and restart DS4Windows it gives me the notification saying "VIGEmBus not installed."
13 de set. de 2023 · Navigate to the path C:\Program Files\Nefarius Software Solutions\ViGEm Bus Driver and edit the file ViGEmBus_Updater.ini with a text editor of your choice (you will need Administrator permissions to edit).
ViGEmBus has shown its age for quite some time now. The code comes from a different time, it's aged badly, is difficult to understand and maintain/update. Plus I didn't push any changes recently other than some bugfixes anyway, so the update pace was almost at a standstill as it is.
