11 de nov. de 2020 · This is not new thing this is apparently happening for over an year. They are charging people up to 5 times and often suspending their accounts temporarily. On top of that it takes a lot of time to get refund and apparently talking with Ubisoft support about this is kinda nightmare. Reddit is full of posts about this
13 de dez. de 2023 · Dec 13, 2023. #2. This will usually happen when it installs a patch. Aside from that you shouldn't be seeing so many prompts. Also when trying launch some old games you might get a prompt to login again but this has nothing to do with windows iirc. Uplay is a fuck.
17 de jan. de 2018 · So they do have incentive to sell Steam version. You can get uplay keys easily for -50% even before release. And they still have to pay 30% cut for digital games sold outside uPlay. uPlay advertises -20% coupon, so if user users those difference is 10% only between Steam & uPlay. InquisitorAles said:

And this is on top of other issues they introduced with Ubisoft Connect like Photo Mode not reacting in Valhalla if there are server issues, corrupted saves in WD Legion and Valhalla, delay in purchase deliveries for 24h or more, old bugs like multiple subscription reservations at full amount for Ubisoft+...
19 de mar. de 2021 · Has anyone ran into an issue where you install AC Valhalla through Epics launcher and when you go to start the game Uplay says the game needs downloaded and installed? If I delete and reinstall the game via the Epic Launcher the Uplay will see it until I reboot my computer.
I opened up Uplay today and found this on the news page. I tried it even on the Ultimate Edition and it worked too. 20% off is a great deal. The game is not out yet and it's already discounted if you buy it straight from their store. Ubisoft save 30% by selling their games through Uplay but...
