  1. 2 de fev. de 2020 · I have tried the UFO ghosting website test, but not really sure what I'm looking for. I certainly see a little blur of the ufo behind (left) of the ufo, but I'm not sure what qualifies as good or bad. I've also tried playing with the "Overdrive" settings on the monitor but have not observed a noticeable difference in performance during the UFO ...

  2. 10 de nov. de 2017 · I was trying this UFO Ghosting Test, but I'm not quite show how to capture a screenshot and compare it to other monitors in reviews around the web. If I take a screenshot [CTRL + ALT + Print Screen] and paste it into Photoshop, everything looks perfect. If I take a photo of my screen with my smartphone, then some UFOs are blurry.

  3. 15 de set. de 2021 · ontelo. •• Edited. Too much overdrive causes inverse ghosting or pixel overshoot. This is neither of those. This is just bad photo where no conclusions can be drawn. (Edit, for example I could have the best monitor in the world. But I could jack up my camera settings to have like 1/5 timing.

  4. 11 de set. de 2022 · I don't think you'll have any ghosting issues with that monitor. I own a Dell 1440p 144 Hz TN myself, zero ghosting issues whatsoever. Had your monitor decision been a VA monitor, that's where ghosting would have been an issue. I'd look to calibrate your monitor for sure. Dells are known to not have the best calibration out of the box.

  5. 27 de abr. de 2019 · Hello, as the title says, I would like to test my current monitor ghosting with testufo but I don't know which speed from the menu to pick, does it depend on my resolution? As for testing MPRT " Pixels Per Frame " should I lower it till I get no ghosting to find out about MPRT value of my monitor? Thanks

  6. 11 de jul. de 2020 · I mean that fact alone means it's at the very least as good as what we are seeing, and I'm liking what I'm seeing so much haha. Coming from a laptop display with a 50ms gtg and horrendous ghosting, which I never noticed until I did the UFO tests, I am very much excited to be getting this bad boy when it's in stock again.

  7. 21 de ago. de 2021 · But yeah, you should DEFINITELY be pretty smear free at one of the overdrive settings with 120Hz on DP. Turn off the random "features" that are in the monitor settings, most of them just make things worse. There will always be a tiny bit of ghosting, but only really be noticeable in various tests, not during gameplay etc.

  8. 25 de jul. de 2021 · All monitors have at least some ghosting. Generally the middle setting is good for reducing ghosting and not having artifacts. I don't know much about that monitor specifically but I know dyac on benq monitors are super good if you are competitive and don't mind the TN panel.

  9. 23 de jul. de 2021 · Here are test pics of UFO ghosting on Dell S2522HG (I know they are shitty quality but better then nothing!): https://postimg.cc/Whth2rfx VRR Off Fast 960pps. With VRR off Suprr Fast would be the choice and with on even Extreme is possible, or what is your opinion? I'm still waiting for reviews on this monitor, since the S2721DGF was too big.

  10. 15 de out. de 2021 · I got the MSI mag274qrf-qd. Powered it up and tried out the UFO ghosting test at 120hz. I was amazed. I am amazed. Then I left to go call a buddy to see the glory. When I can back I loaded up the MSI osd software. Only took about 3 mins to come back. I noticed the racing lines from the UFO test were visible against the black background.
