RTC (abbreviation of "Roblox Twitter Community"), also known as the RTC, is an unofficial account that posts content related to what is happening in the Roblox community and on the Roblox platform on the social networking website Twitter/X; as of December 2023, it had accumulated 800,000 followers. The Twitter account was created on October 27, 2018, with the original intent of being a mysterious figure in the Roblox Twitter Community, as well as an account that informed people of news, giveaways, and drama. The account had a brief period of inactivity in 2019 until ZAZC hired Epitonex, who worked as the first staff on the RTC. Eventually, he left on his own accord for personal reasons. In a search of a replacement, ZAZC hired Synnetic (a.k.a. Auxenity) to assist in running the account. Synnetic branched out, creating the account's first Discord and Roblox group. In March 2020, Synnetic controversially attempted to steal the RTC account, which was unsuccessful and immediately resulted in his termination. Managers of the server, notably AlexTanooki, opposed his actions and has accordingly worked on the RTC account since.
To expand to other websites, the account created a Discord server on March 20, 2020, and later their second Roblox account which succeeded the first on April 5, 2020. On June 1st, 2020, they created a group on Roblox that was eventually renamed to RTC Hub.
On February 18th, 2021, the account had reached 100,000 followers. During the 2021 Roblox outage, the account reached 250,000 followers on October 30th, 2021. The account had reached 500,000 followers on July 27th, 2022.
As of January 2023, the account is co-owned by both ZAZC and molegul, respectively. In late October 2023, ZAZC hired Trelakor, who has been contributing to the majority of graphics used on the account's tweet since November 8th. As of November 2023, the RTC has changed its logo for the fifth time to include a blue ring.
