17 de dez. de 2023 · And then I was like man, maybe the heat from the Vicks acts in the same way. That sensation of heat or coolness would in their or at-least should do the same. Then I remember this weird little jar I picked up at the store and never used that I’ve had for years. It’s a smallllll a$$$$$$ jar. “Extra Strength Tiger Balm (HEAT)”.
For me, only Biofreeze and Tiger Balm. I prefer BioFreeze roll-on as it can cover a large area easily, whereas Tiger Balm I use for smaller spots and migraines. I don't find diclofenac/Voltaren helps me at all! I know it works great for a lot of people, but I just can't feel a difference.
2 de fev. de 2022 · Tiger Balm is great for after the race. If you'd ever used it before, you would know that you need to wash your hands thoroughly after putting it on, clean under your fingernails, and completely dry your hands with a towel, because that shit sticks around.
6 de jan. de 2023 · There are lots of exotic topicals: Tiger Balm, etc. There does seem to be something special about the Tiger Balm and Bone Setter’s Water (Xheng Gui Shiu, if I remember). I sure don’t know what it is…they all are just basic camphor topical rubs…..

Tiger balm much cheaper. its is also less messy works better as a muscle relaxant. it deosnt go bad as quickly you get relief faster. It also hurts less if it gets in a cut. 29 de jun. de 2024 · First time i got hells itch today. Horrible itch that didnt go away. We had bought some tiger balm for mosquito bites, and i tried it after taking paracetamol, aloe vera, moisturizer etc. tiger balm makes it go away in under 2 minutes. Compare this with a fan blowing air at you, and your life just changed.
I can use it on my temples, but usually I can only find the extra or ultra strength and if I use those on my face my skin peels. Tiger Balm (white) on forehead and temples, a wet washcloth on top. It’ll burn and kinda hurt, but it’ll divert from the migraine pain. It’ll help after a while in combination with the meds.
This page has several other Thai balms. Harex - just wintergreen. Similar to Solanpas. Leopard Balm is more or less Tiger Balm - it adds Eucalyptus Oil - but otherwise the same. Pai Jog - includes ginger oil (counter-irritant) and citronella oil (mild counter-irritant, lemon smell). Ringworm Bush is anti-fungal.
12 de out. de 2018 · Tiger balm was invented in 1870s, has been around much longer than Namman Muay liniment in Asian countries. Basically most Asians use Tiger balm for everything: ailments, stomache aches, and vapor rub for sweating out the cold or flu, no longer Ancient Chinese scecret, way before Vick's vapor rub ( Western version), but not as strong as Tiger balm.
