I often hear among people who are only vaguely familiar with Star Trek referring to the character of Spock as 'Dr Spock', getting confused with the author of the book about children. It got me to thinking though: Spock is a pretty clever guy and it wouldn't surprise me if he had a PhD.
Dr Spock was a real person, an American pediatrician whose book Baby and Child Care, published in 1946, is one of the best-sellers of all time. This Benjamin Spock, unlike Star-Trek Spock, is usually referred to as "Dr Spock" (although the title seems to be that of a medical doctor rather than a PhD graduate).

The one item they brought out that bore no relation to Star Trek, was the "Official Star Trek Helmet", that has since become known as the Spock Helmet.
31 de jul. de 2016 · Early in Star Trek Beyond, the Enterprise lands at Yorktown Station, for shore leave. On the Station, two Vulcans tell Spock that Spock Prime has died. Spock looks at a sheet that has a picture of Spock Prime and lettering underneath that I thought were birth and death dates, but the scene was so fleeting that I am not sure of this.

For Spock to have survived, it is indeed fortunate that Saavik was available, as it is considered unusual for a Vulcan to survive pon farr without the support of other Vulcans at least before the reboot of the Trek Universe in the Abrams Star Trek (2009) timeline.

When Enterprise arrives at the Yorktown space station, Spock is briefed by Vulcan emissaries about the ambassador's death, news that influences Spock's actions throughout the rest of the movie and his decision whether to remain in Starfleet.
26 de mar. de 2022 · At the end of this Star Trek TOS episode Spock notes something to the effect that even the highest forms of intelligence need to "play" sometimes. It provided insight into what took place during the episode.
1 de ago. de 2015 · 43. Spock's full name is S'chn T'gai Spock. From memory-beta: Spock's full name was revealed in TOS novel: Ishmael. In TOS episode: "This Side of Paradise", Spock said that his full name was unpronounceable to Humans. It is revealed in a TOS novel called Ishmael.
