10 de set. de 2024 · The free online version does not allow the use of extensions but even if it did, the Open Newer Version extension wouldn’t do you any good in SketchUp Free. What are you really trying to do with Sketchup?
26 de mar. de 2020 · You cannot draw on a layer in SketchUp. That’s never been a thing even when what are now called tags were called layers. So again, the correct workflow is to leave the pencil icon set to Untagged. Create all geometry (edges and faces) as untagged and leave them untagged.

18 de out. de 2016 · I’m new to the web based SketchUp Free having last used SketchUp Make 2016. Even the SketchUp help hasn’t fully caught up to the web based version, this page talks about the Panels and is in a section for ‘SketchUp for Web’ but the link about the Views panel ‘ Viewing a Mode ’ is for SketchUp Make and SketchUp Pro which are desktop applications.

I had started a list of things I wanted in the web app that were in SU17 but were missing from 'Free* and that was at the top!

1 de set. de 2020 · I need URGENT advise on how to change Sketchup for web (free) to wireframe mode once you have completed your design. I have tried to change the ‘hidden’ settings but this only changes the wireframe of the objects and not the rest of the model. Can anyone advise any ideas please? Many thanks. 10 de fev. de 2018 · Same issue here. I have a 100MB file that I can’t make any changes to without Sketchup Free crashing. I have a desktop GTX 1080 (Chrome is using) and 64GB of RAM. My model is now trapped because my Pro 2018 trial expired and I can’t open my 2018 files online or in Make 2017.
20 de nov. de 2017 · I don’t see it in the given tool-set. I did see where one can select a face and then right-click and select align view which sort of gets there. Without a way to change the camera from perspective to parallel it’s not exactly the same. While I detest it in AutoCAD the View-cube might be a usable feature to bring into SU Free to add in setting a true 2D view. Just a thought.
