The PS2 Bios on the top (the mediafire link) is linked to malware. If you care enough to do a Virustotal scan, you may end up seeing that it's filled with malware. To deal with this malware, take out the hard drive (or SSD) and just buy a new one.

19 de out. de 2010 · This is a tool for dumping information from Playstation2, including bios, dvdplayer rom, non-volatile memory, etc. This is the BIN version of the BIOS Dumper (all files provided separately). In addition, v1 of the tool is included (dumpbios-mass.elf) in case you are having trouble with the new version. Attached Files.

Full installer has the DirectX web installer bundled, web installer optionally downloads it from the internet, and binary is only the program with the plugins.

For the BIOS, you should be careful if you do not want to get banned. If you wanna know the reason why, read the forum rule. Hope you find the two threads useful.
3 de out. de 2012 · It's completely illegal to download a bios from the internet (even if you actually own a PS2), and no one here will tell you where to do that, so don't ask. They will, however, all be happy to point you to the above link on dumping the bios from your PS2 (which unfortunately requires modding your PS2), as that's the normal and the legal method of obtaining a PS2 bios.
15 de jan. de 2023 · As an example Play! doesn't need an external PS2 BIOS to work. PCSX2 needs a PCSX BIOS folder. The Core Info section says to visit this link for more information. Most emulators that require a BIOS will usually say (!) Missing/Found, Required/Optional: in the firmware section and then will mention the BIOS that the emulator needs to function.

It should cover everything you need to get the ps2 working on a computer. Scroll down to the bottom and you should see where it's titled "BIOS(Basic Input Output System)."
