18 de out. de 2022 · If you are new to OpenOffice then you be much better of to install LibreOffice rather than OpenOffice. LibreOffice is actively developed and is more up to date than OpenOffice. OpenOffice is dying a slow death, sad but true. You can also get LibreOffice as a 64-bit application.

17 de jan. de 2010 · A 64 bit version can be present, it will not hurt anything. After you install Java, in OpenOffice go to the menu Tools -> Options, expand the OpenOffice list and click Java. Select the Use a Java Runtime Environment box, wait for the list below to populate and click the round button next to the Java version you installed.
7 de jan. de 2016 · I have read other threads on this forum indicating that the Apache OpenOffice Download page takes you to SourceForge, where one should not click anything and the download of AOO will begin after a few seconds. My problem is that the download never begins.
