  1. 12 de jun. de 2023 · For the longest time, my Minecraft game has rested comfortably in my SSD D:\ drive of 500 GB. My C:\ hard drive only holds about 100 GB and space is at a premium. In the past year, Minecraft updated their launcher so that *only* seems to be able to run from C:\, even if you go to Apps & Features and have Windows move it to D:\.

  2. 17 de out. de 2017 · Open Minecraft on the computer you used to copy the data to your Google Drive, and open your game world. Check to ensure your mods and resource packs loaded correctly, and then Save & Quit the game. Repeat on your other computer(s). If everything went well, you should now have a copy of Minecraft that you can play between multiple computers.

  3. Load up Minecraft to verify it's OK with the new setup. Once that's done, close Minecraft and start Google Drive. Google Drive will scan the local folders, see there are new files to upload, and start uploading. The icon at the bottom will start to flash gently, and will say "Syncing # of #". Go do something else other than playing Minecraft.

  4. 17 de jun. de 2021 · Thanks for the tip winkel, just got a new SSD installed and wanted to move all my Minecraft instances to a faster drive and couldn't remember how i did it last time. Just FYI, if you want to see all your played modpacks in the new folder you have to move them all manually over from the original CurseForge location....or download all new ones for a fresh start.

  6. 27 de mai. de 2020 · as you've noticed, choosing the directory at the time of install only affects where the launcher itself is installed. the launcher however will default to installing the .minecraft folder in your windows user profile which, by default, is on the system drive. After that, open your minecraft launcher settings and change the game directory to where you just put .minecraft. Also you might need to move the launcher too but I'm not home rn so I don't know where it's located.

  8. Step 1) Install minecraft normally onto your C drive. Step 2) Open "run" in the search bar in the bottom left. Step 3) Type %appdata% into the run window. Step 4) Locate the ".minecraft" folder, and move it to whatever drive you intend to store all its contents on. Step 5) Delete the ".minecraft" folder on your C drive.

I have an issue with my PCI encryption/decryption controller idk what it is but i cant update the driver for it. And my game keeps crashing mostly when i start it but sometimes its fine ...

  10. 16 de mai. de 2019 · Anyways, My D: Drive has 2 TB and my dad told me to install everything on D: Drive because my laptop would get slow if storage in C: Drive fills up. Launcher is installed in D:\Program Files (x86)\Minecraft Launcher. Minecraft in default is installed in C:\Users\NAME\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft. I want minecraft to be installed in D:\Games/Minecraft
