This is where we rotated the crankshaft using the 22mm socket to line up the timing marks on the camshaft cogs to the chain. It looks like our chain skipped a tooth. Drink a little beer. Remove the coolant reservoir.

When test driving them make sure they are warmed up and drive it both city and highway to see if there are any stalling issues. Also make sure it's not burning anything I.e. smoke from exhaust.

The most-frequent reason you hear for people wanting an alternative to ARPs is that the ARPs are difficult to install. (You have to pull the rear hubs, for example.)

The USDM market has not seen the combined ACD/AYC system until the Evolution X. the factory service manuals from 2008 and 2010 versions are very poorly written and confusing.

Unscrew the fitting on the ACD transfer case ( located on the bottom right of it ) step. 4 start the car ( at this point, the EVO X starts the ACD AYC pump and opens the Central circuit ) from the fitting, the liquid will run in a thin stream . after 10-15 seconds, close the fitting and stop the machine.

  9. 11 de set. de 2016 · The MR with its 6th gear seems wayyy better for that. My biggest thing when I first got an Evo X was, the GSR is cheaper and looks better. That's what sold me. So unless you're set on an MR, because you have traffic, or prefer auto cars, or whatever, then get the GSR.

  10. 20 de fev. de 2009 · With the car off, plug in the OpenPort 2.0 cable into the OBDII connector on the underside of the driver's side panel. Be careful not to kick it/hit it/yank out the cable! Plug in the USB cable end into your computer (hopefully a laptop that's in your car), that has ECUFlash installed on it.
