21 de jun. de 2018 · Go to Edit-> Preferences-> General and under Accessibility, check to see that the Document Color Options have text set to Black. Under File->Print click on the Advanced button and select the Print As Image checkbox- try printing with that set and see if it prints out darker.
The solution is to Save As and select the file format: "PDF/X" and you will be in highlighting heaven... Furthermore, this will turn on highlighting in the right-click context sensative menu, and you can set properties to default to a particular highlight color. To take highlighting off, select "White..." 3 Upvotes.
1 de abr. de 2019 · You need to solve this issue before creating the PDF file, which Reader is not involved in, by the way, as it can only display PDF files, not create them or edit them in such a way. Thanks. I was starting with a light copy which I couldn't get darker so I'll manage with these since I have no other option.

22 de mar. de 2021 · I have been troubleshooting in the community but nothing seems to help. Reinstalling does no help either. I tried other light PDF readers does not have this issue. But I would still want to continue using Adobe Acrobat Pro. Any advice/ help would be much appreciated. Issue is with regards to Acrobat, not Acrobat Reader.
