4 de mar. de 2021 · It has UI similar to imgur back when it had no community and biased opinionated user base as well as mods. There are two reasons it is not ranked #1 on my list. First of all, it is relatively younger (about 2.5years old), and has lower file size limit. Postimages is another great website if you don't intend to upload any explicit images.

This one does a number of things: converts the file to jpeg (solves the HEIC problem) reduces the file size to make sure it’s under 10mb Imgur max (relevant to me because I also shoot with a camera that can produce some large files) uploads to Imgur. copies the link in the Obsidian format.

This happens after the Zoinks page is served so it's not the cause of the problem here, but probably still worth solving separately.

Most of what I ever share on reddit are screenshots, and the KDE Plasma screenshot tool uploads to imgur and copies the link to the image itself (not just the imgur page) directly to my clipboard with just two clicks. I don't even have to open a separate tab and upload, don't have to actually save a local copy to later delete after uploading ...
