I'm looking to purchase a smaller sedan as a new car and am considering the 2023 Elantra SEL (with Convenience Package) because it has the most leg room, front and back, of any sedan in it's class. And of course the styling, the standard features, the comfort, etc.

Right now on this tank of gas, the meter is sitting at 44.9, and that includes about a fourth of the miles are stop and go city. And I also don't believe it takes 12 seconds 0-60. Never timed it though.

Could be the flexible steering coupler that is part of power steering unit at the base of steering column on inside of vehicle. If that indeed is the issue there are a few YouTube videos on how to replace that item. It was a $3.29 item at local Hyundai Dealer this past February.
