21 de nov. de 2023 · 12c HID device (code 10) - hp pavilion x360 convertible 14-dy0xxx Please can someone help with this it’s driving me crazy, so after updating my laptop to windows 11 23H2, my 12, HID Device stopped working and showed a code 10 - request for HID descriptor failed, because of this my touchpad isn’t working (also other devices have become hidden in device manager).

Uninstalling I2C HID driver and reinstalling, downgrading drivers, load default BIOS (it was working great - Unfortunately, it doesn't now), and the last working solution now is unchecking auto detect external USB from BIOS setting : (. When it stops working, in the Device Manager the 'I2C HID Device' usually has a yellow exclamation point and the Device Status says "This device cannot start. (Code 10). A request for the HID descriptor failed".
