23 de set. de 2023 · I played around with this last year and had a little success, but it's tricky to get it working just right. The idea is to block connections to/from the IPs of the modded lobbies so that the game will keep searching for a lobby hosted by a normal player.
For those of you who don't want to be forced to play in modded lobbies, I threw together a little website with instructions for how to bypass them. This should have been done a long time ago, but better late than never.
You can back out right before the hacked lobby match is about to start, then search for a QP match again... hoping you don't get thrown into another one. Either that or try to add people that seem cool and get a private match going. You literally jumped into the game at the worst time possible...
If you want to play clean, un-modded Friday the 13th public lobbies with ease, it is a very simple adjustment you can enable in Windows Firewall to prevent matchmaking with known modded servers. I will try my best to report new IPs here when they are found. Steps: ~ Open the Windows Firewall.
The only way those hacked lobbies will go away is if the person hosting them turns it off. Nobody knows who's hosting them. Your only option is to host a lobby, create a looking for group on the steam discussion boards and inviting people to a private match or play the alternative versions of the game; Camp Blood/ Complete Edition.
The aim of this site is to provide a regularly updated list of IP addresses associated with the modded lobbies so that you can block outbound connections to them using the built-in Windows Firewall. When the IP addresses are blocked, instead of the F13 game client joining a modded lobby it will instead continue searching for normal lobbies.
