See, I think that Disco Elysium could be a novel or a TV show, whereas Baldur's Gate 3 has more of a game -y mouthfeel than Disco Elysium.

25 de fev. de 2024 · I haven't played Disco Elysium, but I just finished 13 Sentinels and I didn't find its writing or story to be very impressive. It was entertaining and the nonlinear structure kept it engaging, but ultimately seemed to me like your standard cheesy and mildly trashy high schooler anime plot.

I just finished Sunless Skies (there's also its predecessor Sunless Sea) and while they are not at all like Disco Elysium in terms of the basic gameplay, they share some similarities. The writing is the main draw along with the (to me) extremely interesting and fleshed-out world building.
