For simplicity, cheats for Candy Box 2 are kept at Cheats/Candy Box 2 to avoid confusion between the two games and their methods. This can be done whenever the player wants to in the game, and doesn't require anything to be unlocked to access.

By tweaking the text given from the "Get the current game as text" box of the save tab of Candy Box 2, the player can cheat. The player cannot use the Javascript/Developer's Console like they could in Candy Box. Instead, they can use the save tab.

Progress so far has been basic; changing grimoires to be equippable, allowing players to enchant the beginners' grimoire (replacing acid rain with a spell that pulls in enemies), adding a chocolate at the end of the castle spike room, and adding an extended map that is obtained by opening the candy box.
