Also that one time Brook laughed his ass off after seeing Duval and Sanji together--I don't know what made it so funny, but it always tickles my funny bone YOHOHOHOHOOHOHO. The ants ignoring him in Strong World because there's nothing on him to eat.
28 de nov. de 2016 · Brook appreciation thread. Brook is, in my opinion, the most interesting character in One Piece. Disregarding the fact that he's a 9'1" talking skeleton. Here's why: Brook's emotional strength and development are out of this world. When we first met Brook, he was lonelier than anyone else in the One Piece world.
Brook is an extremely complex and underrated character. Analysis. He uses skull jokes as a coping mechanism. He was all alone with the dead corpses of his friends for 50 years, he suffered so much pain, and the only thing to alleviate his pain was making fun of himself. It was the only entertainment he had for 50 years...

9 de jun. de 2017 · He is alive as he says. His soul is what keeps him alive like is the case with every other person. When a person is fatally wounded, they give off the soul as would be the case if Brook is fatally wounded. Being that his ability only gives him a second chance at life, any fatal injury would indeed kill him as he's not immortal.

I don't watch/read the series solely for the sake of one character. But when Brook joined the crew those long 6-7ish years ago, it was clear. I'd found my favourite One Piece universe ...
15 de nov. de 2017 · Brook doesn't really need much character development. He's 70 years older than most of the crew. He had been trapped in an endless, rudderless fog on a ship stained with the blood of his nakama for 29 years before Luffy was even born.
No, I think the only character I’d consider to be black is Mr. 1. Because he was clearly drawn a different race than the others. Usopps parents were both light skinned so I don’t think he’s black. Brook we’ve seen has a lighter skin tone. The only black people in one piece are the fishmen 🤷♂️.
