I know this is pretty old thread, but Basil is also the name of a flower. It's actually quite popular because of its scent and is widely used in making potpourris.

17 de nov. de 2022 · Sunny wasn’t just punching Basil, he was trying to take the weapon away from him. First, he tried to do it calming down and only using his hands, and when he became stressed, he became more forceful, resulting on them getting mutually hurt by the blades in the process. Sunny wasn’t bluntly attacking Basil.
26 de fev. de 2021 · Basil did what he did because he was terrified of the idea of Sunny being taken away, and when he finds out about Sunny moving away he starts to break down. I think it's part of him desperately trying to get Sunny to stay with him. Keep in mind Basil we've seen pleading and asking for forgiveness is headspace Basil.
7 de fev. de 2021 · Instead, Omori stabs Basil and walks over his body before taking his seat in the throne of hands up the stairs. Two ways I interpreted this were: A. Omori and Sunny are technically still "saving" Basil. They're finally rejecting his superficial Headspace counterpart in favor of saving the REAL Basil in the waking world.

16 de ago. de 2023 · Theory. As you can see most of the Headspace versions of the characters are purple haired with white skin (besides clothes). But Omori and Basil aren’t. For Omori I think he is black and white for 2 reasons. 1. To better display his lack of emotion. Causing a difference from the other vibrant and cheerful characters. And 2.
