This guide will assist you in completing the NRG-500 Challenge in GTA: San Andreas. This page will detail what the NRG-500 Challenge is and where to find it, provide several tips and tricks to complete it, and the rewards available for doing so. Upon completing this guide you will be one step closer to that elusive 100% completion rating! This guide includes an update for the GTA: The Trilogy - Definitive Edition release for Xbox, PC, and PS5.
The NRG-500 Challenge is identical to the BMX Challenge, but instead of a bicycle, you are now using an NRG-500 motorbike to perform stunts and pass through red rings. The Challenge can be found in the dry dock in Easter Basin, San Fierro. The location of the dry dock can be seen circled on the map below:
The one pre-requisite to beginning this Challenge is that you must have completed the story mission "The Green Sabre". With that out of the way, you will always find an NRG-500 spawned to the left of the dry dock, tucked away behind the shipping containers on the immediate left-hand side.
Once you've gotten onto the motorbike, the Challenge will automatically begin. The time limit will be very tight to begin with, but like the other Challenges, each red ring that you pass through will generously grant you additional time. The rings in the air are harder to reach than those in the BMX Challenge, so line yourself up underneath the ring on the opposite side of the dry dock to where it is and then accelerate to ramp up.
There isn't much substance rewards-wise here. you will receive $1,000 and a bump to your overall game completion percentage (alongside a strengthened if not fully maxed out Biking skill). Congratulations!
