Where should I post my fanfiction? AO3 vs FFN. The two most popular fanfiction sites are Fanfiction.net (FFN) and An Archive of Our Own (AO3). Many fanfiction writers crosspost to both sites, while others prefer to post to only one. If you would rather not crosspost, here are a few important considerations when deciding which site to choose:

20 de dez. de 2022 · There are some "niche" solo websites still out there dedicated to specific fandoms, but the more visible ones are the multi-fandom hubs like AO3, FFN, and so forth. 2 de out. de 2020 · I really feel like this is the best way to get a professional looking end product, versus using whatever auto-generated document AO3 gives you. You can customize it to your tastes and preferences, and make sure it’s laid out for printing instead of screen reading. If you have any questions about what settings I use, feel free to ask.
27 de nov. de 2023 · What happens is, you register an email with Kindle - it looks weird & fake, just roll with it. Go to the story you want, hit 'download' and do so in Mobi EPUB format. Go to your own email, and send the Mobi files using the 'weird' email. Open your Kindle, let it connect to your WiFi, and you have sparkly shiny new stories to read. Easy peasy. 4.
1 de dez. de 2020 · The only tag I'm worried about adding is 'major character death.' My current plans have one of my main characters die at the end, and while from the offset it's not going to be obvious who dies, there's a point near the middle where it becomes pretty obvious which one it would be, and most of the story is spent wondering if he's going to actually pull through or not.

23 de set. de 2022 · Personally, I only use AO3, FFN, and tumblr to upload my fanfic to. (Tumblr is also mainly so I can advertise to my fandom.) However, if I hadn't started using FFN before the other two websites, I would have never started because the site is so much harder to search through than AO3. 5. Shigeko_Kageyama.
