7 de mar. de 2023 · When it comes to the use of the Amen specifically over other famous breaks, tradition does also play a part. Like I said, the Amen is a very good & versatile break, so it's sorta snowballed in popularity over the years to the point that now it's basically just the default breakbeat people use, regardless of genre.

Always bear in mind the legality in everything you sample, should it be a success, it takes a protected 1sec sample to be sued for 100% of your earnings.

I have sliced the original amen break one time in the fruityloops slicer (I think in 2001) and made this with it. I personally discovered why all the other music guys liked working with the amen break sample. Also you miss soul.

I was wondering if you know where I can get a sample in good quality, the ones from youtube didn't really like the audio quality, I downloaded it from a website just for testing, but I think I can get a sample in better quality.
