If you want to dump it using your computer, you need to own a compatible bluray drive (not every pc bluray drive can read ps3 discs) and then you need to decrypt it.   2. 10 de jan. de 2022 · That's the thing that kills me. An Xbox 360 is basically a PC in terms of how it works. The PS3 in comparison was a shitshow, so much so that when Sony unveiled the PS4 they were really proud of themselves for making it 'more like a PC'. If RRD was made for Xbox (which it was) then porting to PC really can't be that impossible.

I have RetroArch installed on my PC and am wanting to play PS3 games on my PC. My understanding is that I need to download and load a PS3 core via RetroArch. However when I go to "Load Core", it only goes as high as PS2.

  4. In the UK, a refurbished CECHC model will run me about £150 (190 in USD). However I also have a very capable gaming pc (Ryzen 7 5800x + 32GB ram + RX 6700xt) and am wondering if I should just use RPCS3 and PCSX2 and load my discs through there, especially if the PS3 proves unreliable hardware-wise. Would save me a lot of money and hassle.

Setting up RPCS3. Find a spot to store your RPCS3 program files in your fastest drive and extract the ZIP file to that location (I recommend C:\Program Files (x86).

  8. 19 de jan. de 2024 · I'm just getting started with emulation for the XB360/PS3 era. Which system is the better emulation tool for 2024? I prefer XB360 because I owned one back in the day but from what I read, the XB360 emulation is somewhat more recent and the PS4 emulator has been around for longer.

For information on setting up the emulator and dumping your PS3 games, read the quickstart guide." So my questions are...

  10. Your PC is the problem. This isn't PC games you are running, this is a complex PS3 emulator running those games. You should aim for a 6c 12t CPU at the very least, the GPU is fine for RPCS3 since this emulator is CPU bound.
