Michael Knight is a fictional character and the protagonist of the 1980s television series Knight Rider, played by David Hasselhoff. The character first appeared in the opening scenes as Michael Long, played by Larry Anderson in the beginning of the pilot. His last appearance was in the 2008 film Knight Rider.
Michael Knight (born Michael Arthur Long, January 9, 1949) is the main character and protagonist of Knight Rider. An operative of The Foundation for Law and Government (F.L.A.G.), he works with the intelligent car K.I.T.T. to fight crime.
Em 1991 foi feito o filme Knight Rider 2000, onde Michael Knight voltava ao ativo após 10 anos afastado da Fundação, e instala o CPU de K.I.T.T. (que havia sido desmontado e desativado) em seu Chevy Bel Air 1957, mas o antigo chip de K.I.T.T. acabou parando na cabeça de uma policial.
