The computer tries to boot into infinite loop (when the USB key is plugged in, the computer starts and the Dell logo appears. The little blue progress bar is growing normally.

I'm trying to figure out how in the heck I'd go about installing this using the command line once i have it tranfered to the computer. Any ideas please?

  7. 15 de out. de 2023 · I would suggest avoiding UNetbootin; Balena Etcher is more effective than Unetbootin in modern eras, and as you can see the PPA(s) you were adding to your system don't have release files and therefore doesn't support Jammy 22.04; Balena Etcher is the better solution. –

  8. 26 de set. de 2015 · Open built-in Disks tool – click the menu (right top corner) and select Restore Disk Image. Choose the Windows 7 iso image, select the USB drive to write it to and start the process. I cannot find any Windows iso file, that can be cloned alias 'restored' by Disks to a working USB install drive.
