10 de mar. de 2021 · Fast forward, Ultimate Ears, who definitely don’t really need an extended introduction since pretty much everybody who is into the in-ear hobby/passion knows them and their story, now offer the UERMs’ successors, the Ultimate Ears Pro Reference Remastered (UERR), as universal fit “to-go” version, which makes me and those other people who prefer universal fit in-ears really happy.
19 de nov. de 2015 · With the help of measurement device, you can make UERR with the detailed EQ tuning sound like any other CIEM around. But when you already EQing for example Layla, which is not even close to reference, you are double ******* up the original sound artist intended to produce = which is nonsense.
19 de nov. de 2015 · Is it just me, or does the new Ver.3 of UERR sound thin and unnatural? I just came back from 2 different stores, one wih ver.2 UERR, dual pin version, and another store with the ver.3 that's using Bax cable. Ver.2 siunds organic and correct, while the one with Bax sounds just wrong.

Ultimate Ears Reference Monitors. Source: Personal unit. Miscellaneous: I opted for the standard design, long silver cable and large carrying case. Fairly nice unboxing experience with a nice, high quality, large cardboard case. The acrylic shells are 3D-printed, of high quality and feature nice coloured side indicators.
19 de nov. de 2015 · After using my UE4 - I wanted something that was fuller, crisper and offered a wider sound stage. Made the jump to add the UERR to my collection. The sound from the UE4 and the UERR in terms of treble mids and bass is very similar. The UERR has slightly fuller and more complete bass but it is not EQ'd to get the bass really thumping.
1 de set. de 2016 · Unlike some detail orientated headphone, the UERR maintain the impressive detail presentation without reverting to boosting the treble. The UERR does improve with a good source and shines with good recording. Mids (9.5/10): To my ears, the vocal of the UERR is the strongest strength of the rather rounded package.
19 de nov. de 2015 · I can't answer 1 and 2 but I can for 3. The UERR uses a recessed 2 pin connector. The Westone W40 uses a MMCX connector instead so you won't be able to use it on the UERR. You can get another 2pin cable that terminates in a balanced plug if you wish to use the UERR balanced.
5 de dez. de 2016 · To my ears, the ProPhile 8 have got pretty much exactly 0.5 dB less bass than the UERR and UERM, are slightly less “warm” in the fundamental range/lower midrange, and sound otherwise pretty similar to the UERR in the treble. In terms of resolution though, I would position the ProPhile 8 a bit over the UERR.
