20 de fev. de 2024 · AtlasOS is more established, its been around longer. ReviOS is updated more often and supports more versions. AtlasOS was last updated for Win11 last year. Iv personally never used AtlasOS but from what I can tell, it doesnt have its own control panel so, no updating easily. You should also NOT be using custom ISO's anymore.
I attempted an install of ReviOS 11 recently, and after a reboot, my local user account was locked out. There had been no incorrect password attempts. I unlocked the account using Hiren's Boot CD and was able to log in, but then IMMEDIATELY the account was locked again.
ReviOS aspires to re-create what Windows as an operating system should have been, with a particular emphasis on performance, stability and privacy. Revision understands that performance, speed and low latency is obligatory among power-users and gamers, which is why great effort has been invested into making the foundation of ReviOS a rock solid power-house.
9 de out. de 2023 · Looks like the ReviOS team changed how you install their OS. Now, instead of having to uninstall your current Windows Installation to install a new one, they use the Playbook method. In my opinion, it's better than having to backup everything and reinstall Windows entirely.

Tiny 11 is more popular, and you can build the iso yourself if you want, and choose the features to be removed I remember. Here is my personal recommendation, but you can ignore the power settings.

27 de mar. de 2023 · I must confess that I am allergic to Windows 11. The bloatware, telemetry, and lack of user control over these ‘features’ is frustrating. I’ve purchased a new Alienware laptop and am considering running Tiny11 to improve privacy and eliminate bloatware. I would appreciate thoughts on this.
