12 de jun. de 2021 · I tried moomoo too. I did it to see if I should leave robinhood. At first I signed in many times to look at the stocks because they were really informative. The part that made me quit moomoo too is the advertisement before I can see my stocks, as well as the manual punch in for trading. Lastly, they didn’t have simple covered call options.
moomoo.io They use the speed of daggers to catch up to you, and switch to polearm and musket (WTF?) and instakill you with turret hat. These morons also do this thing where their character says something like !spike or !boostpads, and they generate a structure that often ends your run unfairly.

9 de ago. de 2023 · Noticed that Moomoo is coming to Canada in the fall. More brokerage competition is always good, but not sure how much I would trust them. No details yet on account types. Guessing they will cater to the Asian population with a lot of their marketing focused around CN/HK stocks. Would be great to get another no commission brokerage in Canada ...
Experience with Moomoo. TL;DR: Overall, not bad, would recommend, but just be aware of a couple things. Free stocks can be worth <$2, but only require maintaining a $100.01 balance for 60 days. 5.1% APY is added daily, but the 3% boost is applied at the end of the month. I must say they have great support.
MooMoo trading platform evaluation. It was revealed in his audit that Caleb put $5K into the Moomoo brokerage. So did I, because they were offering around $400 of rewards for maintaining a $5K balance for two months. This is a great return, so I went in. I figured I would put $4K into USFR and just wheel KEY with the rest for fun.

22 de jun. de 2024 · Moomoo will subsidize your transfer costs up to RM200 (depending on tier). It has been a week since my transfer and my subsidy refund should be arriving soon. The main reward (coupon or stock) should appear early July and unlock 90 days thereafter. Well worth it in my book. Thanks for the info.
15 de mar. de 2024 · For holding long term, IBKR is a sure-win for me simply because of Irish-domiciled ETFs as you mentioned the WHT is 15% instead of 30% due to the tax treaty. This may not feel like a lot, but if you're investing for FIRE, every bit counts, especially with the invisible power of compounding. I'm not sure about Moomoo's fees once their honey moon ...
