Nothing is as good as the drive stability and quality of suspension of Jeep. Finished one month with my Jeep Compass - Limited 4*4 Diesel Auto (2023 model). 1. Completed some 2,200 kms and absolutely love the drivability. Did multiple trips between Mumbai-Pune and drove a lot in Mumbai+Pune traffic.

The Compass 4x2 Diesel AT comes with the same 2.0L turbocharged Multijet II engine and 9-speed automatic transmission that you find in the Compass 4x4 and Meridian. The engine develops 168 BHP @ 3,750 rpm and 350 Nm @ 1,750–2,500 rpm. We got to drive the car for 10-15 minutes.
It was excellent. The suspension and handling do wonders to your confidence. Having upgraded from robustly built Skoda Fabia, Rapid, and Kushaq, the Jeep Compass is definitely an improvement in suspension, comfort and handling. Mileage stayed strong with good roads except for a tiny stretch near Udupi.

Now that dream stands fulfilled. Against all the logic and rationale, I ended up buying a Jeep Compass and that too in petrol. Automatic. 4x2.

Why the Compass! I had a March 2022 Skoda Kushaq 1.0 MT, and I was quite happy with it. Except for minor rattles, the car was a hoot to drive.

29 de nov. de 2021 · 1.4 Multiair Petrol churns out 163 Bhp, plenty of power on tap, offers outright performance. Exceptional handling, sharp dynamics, strong brakes, and solid high-speed stability, Jeep Compass deserves a full 5 stars in this department. Solid build quality, strong chassis, built like a vault, follows the Jeep's legacy. Definitely a safe car.
Há 6 dias · Jeep to launch updated Compass in September 2024; Meridian in October 2024. Spotted a Meridian test mule a few days ago. It's definitely testing ADAS functionalities since the sticker at the back says, "Caution, keep distance". The way Jeep is performing and no future models, they are right with the sticker "Caution, keep distance".
Jeep top end does not even have plastic cladding, it is all metal and with good quality paint. I also went for 4 x 2 early September in Bangalore and happy. I know friends who did buy 4 x 4 Jeep compass but have never even used the 4 X 4 capability! It is almost like the ADAS features.
