The gameplay of Godzilla: Save the Earth seems to be something that people are really split on. This is a bit on the sluggish side, but I actually feel that is intentional. You are playing as giant monsters after all; they are not going to be nimble like Ken and Ryu! Each monster has their own attacks, and you are now much freer to use your energy ...
The visuals on offer in Godzilla: Save the Earth are a bit of a mixed bag. I think that anyone who is familiar with this franchise is going to be able to instantly recognize the monsters. The animations are a tad on the stiff side, but it reminds me of watching the old Godzilla movies when I was a kid. The different cities all kind of look the same...
The most disappointing thing about this game for me has to be the sound design. The music is just so quiet and outside of this game, I would not really care to hear it ever again.
