It is an archive which you simply have to unpack with a recent 7unzip and run the FreeCAD binary in the bin directory (may depend on the OS you use). 30 de jul. de 2018 · Like Bejant, to my knowledge, there is now over way to update freecad. The good thing is that you can easily keep older version if you fail loading your old files into a new version. (well, between 0.17.13522 and 0.17.13528, you should not have any version change issue. There are "almost" the same age)

1. I have a part, let's say a washer. Imported from STEP file. 2. I create a sketch, and draw a smaller inner-diameter washer, then pad it to match the thickness of the original washer. 3. I now have a few rings visible. If I manually "Refine shape", I'll have a new part, un-linked, that removes the additional rings.

The polyline tool with the M key will help. In the part WB you'd extrude it then cut it from your object. In Part Design you'd pocket with it. papyblaise.
