1 de out. de 2020 · RageBunny420. Hello, i was wondering if is droidcam secure? I need to use my phone as a webcam for my PC for MS teams meetings as i currently dont have one. If it is not secure, then what alternatives do i have. Need responses in the next 16 hours. Edit: Can you tell me if the PC app is secure as well. Does it contain malware is my main question.
18 de out. de 2022 · DroidCam client may not be available here, but uninstall tool may be under C:\Program Files (x86)\DroidCam\Uninstall.exe Once DroidCam is removed from your system, driver may remain in your computer, you can download a driver manager tool, like DriverStoreExplorer .

The best alternative I'd recommend over Droidcam (but does not offer USB function) would be Ip Webcam by Pavel Khlebovich because it lets you control the video size/quality and the free version's watermark ...
5 de fev. de 2021 · Here's what I found (Ubuntu 21.10 Linux & Android phone): Droidcam seems to halt because of a _possible_ resource contention with Bluetooth. I started running it in sudo, and while Droidcam ran without issue for a long period (until I turned it off), it also messed up my Bluetooth, disconnecting all the devices.

That client is licensed under GPL 2 on Linux, so I expected to see it in the Debian package repository given Droidcam's popularity, alas it isn't in the repo. 6 de nov. de 2020 · It works pretty decently, but there's a thing I can't get right. When I start the Windows client without starting the feed, I go the DroidCam Menu, then HD Mode. Here, on the website, it says you can unlock 1080p by pressing the minus key. But when I do, nothing happens. All I get is 408p (4:3), 720p (4:3) and 720p (16:9).
