  2. 17 de jun. de 2010 · I found this snake as a fresh DOR last week on the southern Caribbean coast of CR (Puerto Viejo) and can't seem to find a match in my field guide (Guyer & Donnelly: Amphibians and Reptiles of La Selva, Costa Rica, and the Caribbean Slope).

We spent a single night while awaiting the tractor ride to Rara Avis the following morning. 2) Rara Avis, a remote lodge on the southern boundary of Braulio Carillo NP. This was a beautiful place located at about 700m elevation on the Caribbean flank of Volcan Barva. It was an extremely wet place.

  10. 9 de set. de 2011 · I would say it depends. Just like herping some people enjoy different aspects of it. Listing, finding rare species, finding the same species (over and over and over again...), seeing a large variety of species, some people enjoy using it as an excuse to get outdoors to see some cool things, and so on.
