14 de fev. de 2020 · 1. Manual control over APKs file. User will directly access the apks from File manager. If APKs are stored on external storage, User can access these apks for later use. Ex. I have set “Keep Cached App” to “forever” to save offline apks. For some apps i would like to cached but for some i didn’t want.

The app trying to install the APK (browser or file manager) will ask for the permission to install apps. When you’ll want to install FROM F-Droid then F-Droid will need to get the permission to install apps.

2 de ago. de 2017 · If I try to install on my phone via the f-droid app, it just says “Download unsuccessful”. If I go to the website to download the APK and install that way, it says “Not Found - The requested URL /repo/com.gimranov.zandy.app_1370.apk was not found on this server.” when I try to download it. Same thing happens for the other version.

18 de dez. de 2019 · it should not matter where you put your apk file, anyway you can try to download it on your phone so it will be in the “Downloads”-folder. But you should first try to install another file-manager because the system ones sometimes lack the ability to handle such files.
25 de mai. de 2019 · I’ve just received my new Fire HD 8 and installed the F-Droid app. I then used it to download Fennec (the code name for Firefox on Android). It works perfectly! I installed the UBlock origin add-on and that works too. I haven’t connected my Kindle to Amazon and I don’t get any ads from there either.
