18 de jul. de 2016 · When converting word documents to PDF and XPS files, you can only get the first 3 page of PDF file. Upgrade to Commercial Edition of Spire.Doc MS Office, Office.Interop or Office automations are not required.

16 de jun. de 2023 · So use the File / Save As / File Format / PDF, which indeed is Microsoft's built in utility. This method should retain the interactive hyperlinks. NOTE: if you use File / PRINT / PDF, this creates a "dead" file that lacks any interativity including hyperlinks. So this is not the recommended method.
11 de jun. de 2010 · I agree with posters listing OpenOffice as a high-fidelity import/export facility of word / pdf docs with a Java API and it also works across platforms. OpenOffice import/export filters are pretty powerful and preserve most formatting during conversion to various formats including PDF.

But when I call the function SaveAs2(), the script pop out the "save as" windows and throws this exception : (-2147352567, 'Exception occurred.', (0, u'Microsoft Word', u'Command failed', u'wdmain11.chm', 36966, -2146824090), None)
4 de mar. de 2009 · Microsoft PDF add-in for word seems to be the best solution for now but you should take into consideration that it does not convert all word documents correctly to pdf and in some cases you will see huge difference between the word and the output pdf. Unfortunately I couldn't find any api that would convert all word documents correctly.
8 de jan. de 2019 · When I convert a docx file to pdf in MS Word with acrobat pdfmaker addin, it runs successfully with no problem, but as soon as the pdf file is created, the original docx file crashes. As I run MS Word once again, a message box occurs saying that acrobat pdfmaker office com addin has encountered a problem, I should disable this addin.

8 de mai. de 2015 · Go to Edit>Preferences>Documents and set PDF/A mode to "Never". Then go to Edit>Preferences>Security (enhanced) and deselect "Enable protected mode at startup. If that doesn't work, you can always try selecting "Print as image" in the advanced print dialog. 3 Upvotes.
It's worth noting that Stevens answer works, but make sure if using a for loop to export multiple files to place the ClientObject or Dispatch statements before the loop - it only needs to be created once - see my problem: Python win32com.client.Dispatch looping through Word documents and export to PDF; fails when next loop occurs
