14 de abr. de 2022 · I’ll bet you they cost more than $100k. You can get 2 GR Supra for the price of the GTR and you can get 3 GR Supra for the price of the NSX. If I wanted a BMW I'll go get one, not a rebadged one, people would pay for a Supra if it was $100k, people paid for the Land cruiser that cost over $100k after taxes.

It's been a long journey from Supra ownership to the Porsche 911 world and then back again to my first love, the Mk4 Supra. I picked up a tiptronic auto TT JDM model here in Thailand about 16 months ago and set out to make it as new and modern as I could.
The best Supra is the one that one owns. The MK5 is a better sports car, the MK4 is a better Supra. I personally would prefer the better sports car. I could care less about the character of the car unless it’s something very unique. The MK4 being overhyped is also feeding into the fact that I don’t appreciate it as much as I used to.

2 de ago. de 2021 · Yep! It is when you maxed the 8 cars (GR supra, BRZ ts, s2000, Rx-7, r34 Skyline, r35 GT-R, Lancer Evo Final Ed, and WRX STI. Gonna take me another 1 year to get probably 2 cars maxed. Oh, well then that would be maybe 2 years then.
The Mk4 is a JDM legend that will forever be in the list of cars a JDM lover wants to have in their garage and probably will never gave since the price will keep going up and up until they and up with collectors. The Mk5 is a new and modern car, if we even see it as a Toyota or real JDM is already a question.
Nostalgia. There are better cars with better weight distribution with better engines and better gearboxes and better interiors, and there HAS BEEN for 2 decades, but a few movies and video games have made it an icon. I'd take an MK3 or an MK5 supra over an MK4. I don't get the appeal. Every bodyline of the car looks like one big bubble.
