This does not use X360CE, Xinput Plus or anything like that as those methods aren't elegant and are bloated. These approaches are wrong, fiddly and cumbersome. Conviction doesn't actually use Xinput properly ...
8 de mar. de 2023 · Here is the solution: Download and install previous version of DirectX. Then it will prompt you to link Ubisoft Connect, so make sure the latter is already installed on your PC. Login on Ubisoft to link and play. Also, do set the game compatibility mode to Windows 7 and check the option Run as Administrator. #1.

Just installed SC Conviction when i start the game it takes me to UBIsoft Connect and asks for activation key but its not an option in Steam for me, just want to play single player thanks. Yep, same. Quite the coincidence that I installed this for the first time since i bought it years ago. Same problem.
1 de jun. de 2021 · Your Splinter Cell Conviction Folder\src\system If you still have a screwy layout, then there is only two possibilities. Your device is not an Xinput device. You have attempted to use a previous fix that exists out in the wild which employs X360CE in some capacity and have left bits of it behind in the same src\system folder.
13 de mar. de 2024 · I've had Conviction on my wish list and noticed there was no price listed next to it today. Clicked the link to the game and see that you can no longer purchase it on its own. You CAN still purchase it if you buy the Echelon Edition though which is a bundle including all the Splinter Cell titles on Steam.
the bundle is weird, 3 of the games are on sale for $2.49 CAD but it still shows up as $39.99 CAD even if you own some of them lol. that means they dont offer discount for owners of some of the games. some bundles are upgrade bundles. some bundles are just "buy it, and we dont give you extra keys" bundles. #12.
So I recently purchased Splinter Cell Conviction on steam. However when I try to play it and it does a validation check it says the operating system isn't supported? I have windows 10 and can play other games in my library just fine so whats the problem? Can someone help if they can?
