Round Rock, Texas, with a population of more than 130,000, is located 15 miles north of Austin in the Central Texas Hill Country. Round Rock is the 29th largest City in Texas, according to Texas Demographic Center.
The Round Rock Parks and Recreation Department oversees the City’s extensive park system, the Clay Madsen Recreation Center, the Allen R. Baca Center for Senior and Community Activities, athletic and aquatic programs, after-school programs, urban forestry, brush recycling, and rental facilities.

The mission of the Arts and Culture Department is to enrich the quality of life, support and foster the enjoyment, understanding, and development of the arts through diverse and engaging experiences. They contribute to the economy and tourism in the community.
Bring friends, family, and your picnic, and we’ll supply the soundtrack for fun-filled Wednesday nights from September 4 – November 13, 2024. These free concerts are held outdoors in Prete Plaza in Downtown Round Rock. Takeout is available from local eateries. Admission and parking are both free.

22 de ago. de 2024 · The Round Rock City Council unanimously approved an increase in utility rates at the Thursday, Sept. 12 Council meeting. The updated utility rates and deposit requirements aim to ensure the City can continue providing reliable water, wastewater, reuse water and stormwater services.
