Every other AI detector is reporting back 100% human text. For some odd reason, quillbot is telling me anywhere from 33-60% in random sections I wrote on my own.

7 de mar. de 2023 · Quillbot and all those website that say they can rewrite your AI generated papers are bullsht. They only work on very little occasions. I have tried asking it to write with perplexity and "human words", or even to write like a college student. It works sometimes, but the more you ask it to write, the more it will be able to still detect it somehow.
I've used quillbot before to aid my writing. What I mean by this is that I ask quillbot to give me better synonyms when I feel like one sentence of my work is not making sense or isn't flowing. Putting my work through Turnitin gives me 3-6% similarity. These AI tools are meant to aid writing, not replace your writing.

Although I'm not sure if the premium version is worthwhile, I've found the free version to be quite helpful. I like Quillbot better than Grammarly. I think this tool might be helpful for non-native speakers like you and me.

Would it be considered academic fraud/plagarism to submit a paragraph/paper that I ran through a paraphrasing tool? (all my ideas, just rephrased from the ai).

Write in Google Docs or a similar program that will keep a log of your progress, so if a teacher ever tries to say it was AI-generated, you can bring the receipts to prove it was not. 4.

An AI detector with a 1% false positive rate means that for every 100 essays that were truly written entirely by humans, the AI detector will on average detect 1 of them as AI-generated.
