29 de jan. de 2023 · I have never seen a ROM, ever, that hasn't downloaded as a zip. My emulator won't even open .gba files. The emulator opens the .zip to run the ROM. The .zip is what contains the gba file. That's how I've always seen it.
MajorQuality of Life / Mechanic Changes: Fairy type has been added, along with a few moves to support it. The Physical/Special split was implemented. Badge boosts were removed. EXP share is now a Key Item that affects the entire party, but is also able to be toggled on/off. EXP is granted when capturing Pokemon.

Battle mechanics are updated to Generation 8. And of course, there will also be many of the QOL features you know and love from modern Pokémon games or other ROM hacks. This game can be played on three difficulties. You can switch between Normal and Hard at any point.
Pokemon Obsidian Emerald Version is a modernized all-doubles challenge hack of Pokemon Emerald Version. I am tying to play the game on a gba emulator on my 3ds. If you have any recommendations please tell me. You can navigate by clicking on the various tabs for each company.

Not a lot of good ROM hacks contain postgame, let alone good postgame. Glazed is just about the best in this regard for an overhaul hack, with Altered Emerald being the best for an enhancement hack IMO. Now, I'm not a hacker myself, but I've played a ton of ROM hacks and I think I can answer why there's not a lot of hacks with postgame.
6 de jul. de 2018 · Trashman is the name of a ROM dumper (person, not tool), and his dump of Emerald is known to be good and accurate to the real cartridges. Other dumps may have been modified with intros or save patches, so it's not a good idea to patch onto them or start a hack on one of them unless you can confirm it's also a good dump.
