After 3/4 months of regular daily use the orange "descale" warning came on yesterday - flow has slowed down in recent days which is probably connected. I'm reluctant to fork out £7.00 for 2 sachets of Nespresso's own descaling agent ...
11 de ago. de 2010 · I have a Nespresso machine-a Turmix 150.I have only ever used the Nespresso 'descaling kit',so can't advise you about using vinegar,but it's not something I would do myself.Which one do you have? Looking at the bumf I got with the machine,it says that if the coffee flows slowly,or not at all:
10 de out. de 2020 · I discovered that the descaling process must be completed within two minutes or the system resets to fault. I descaled the machine yet again, using only tap water. I completed this within two minutes and warning light is gone. Nespresso instruction book does it mention this piece of important information.
13 de jun. de 2011 · Neat vinegar will do the job - run it through the system a few times then run hot water through to clean it out. White vinegar (or malt is fine if you don;t have white). Can dilute it slightly if you prefer and run the cleaning program. Then flush with clean water a few times.
11 de jun. de 2014 · I have a dolce gusto coffee machine. I've never used their descaling kits just a generic descaler (think it was for irons). It worked fine. If water is coming out slowly, it might be the water outlet is clogged. If you take out the coffee pod holder there's a small spout (that pierces the pod and squirts the water in).

Does anyone have any experience of cancelling a Nespresso subscription after the end of the contractual term and then starting a new subscription? I'm thinking of doing this, in the hope that I'll be able to buy another Nespresso machine for £1, but I don't know whether Nespresso will allow this.
5 de set. de 2013 · Is it possible to descale inside an electric shower? The heating element in our electric shower is playing up. It doesn't always turn on (i.e. the water just stays stone cold). Turning it off and on again, or changing the power setting and then changing it back usually resolves it, but's becoming more frequent. The shower is only three years old.
