Or he gives up on jujutsu and lives a normal life. Or simply returns to his old grade 1 status and fights alongside yuji.

But when Yuta defeated Geto and Regained his Special Grade Sorcerers status in 3 months, Megumi started openly respecting his as he stated. Apparently yuta and megumi met between chapter 2 and 3 of volume 0. But megumi only enrolled in the school a year later.

In the first, Megumi summons Nue with the 2 handed sign and flowed cursed energy into his hand at the end because he was preparing for close combat. In the second, Megumi- who we have to remember is facing Sukuna, almost certain death- accidentally summoned Nue with a one-handed sign.

Yea its kinda bonkers, according to Sukuna himself the blades can instantly destroy any cursed spirit. He's lucky he still in yuuji's body.
