I remember having a brief discussion on this, but I can't seem to find the thread. I think the version we had in Tahoe was the black label. I've seen the green labels at stores. I was wondering if you have tried both and whether one label is better than the other?

I just looked, and the only Leroy I have here at the house are Clos de Vougeot, Corton Charlemagne and Richebourg, and all are 2002 or older. All have a wax cap.

comparable in quality/taste to Josey Baker and Pan-O-Rama to buy bread from, small or big? Was wondering if there were any other bakeries in San Francisco and the Bay Area that make great tasting bread? After tasting bread from several bakeries over several years, I ended up buying only from the two above-mentioned bakeries. What is your experience?
Great nose, great mouthfeel. Big and fabulous. Really softens a lot with a bunch of air, yet remains refined in its' simplicity.
