4 de jan. de 2022 · From what I've read, GMS has more features and is faster than Game Maker. However, Game Maker is free for producing binaries, which is a huge plus for me. Can someone give me a detailed comparison of the two versions? Thanks in advance. GameMaker (latest version being 8.1) was discontinued long time ago.

18 de dez. de 2018 · If you take me up on that offer, I highly recommend you get GameMaker Studio 2. It would make it far easier for you to quickly edit levels, as I have a system to use the built-in tiles for collisions. This means you can draw the level and it just works (unless you already have a bunch of export modules for GMS1).
