7 de dez. de 2020 · 2020 Ranger XLT/FX2. Dec 7, 2020. #1. Went from a 93 Ranger XLT with 120k miles to a 2020 XLT/FX2. After the first rain, squealing belts. Seemed normal at first. Belts can get wet sometimes. Now it's on mornings without any rain. The first drive after an overnight temperature change.

Engine miss fire when under load at low revs like climbing a hill which can be violent. But accelerating from standstill through the gears up to speed there are no problems.

10 de out. de 2022 · 277k on my 2011 XLT 4.0. This is my 2nd Ranger. Problem began about 18 months ago. 2 fuel pumps later, the issue still occurs. Vehicle cranks but won‘t start. I turn the key and the fuel pump dosn’t “prime”. Several rotations of the key and finally the pump would prime. After that it runs like a charm.
