If your car has the old style oil pump with the short casing like this you will find it very difficult to find a new replacement as Fiat no longer produce them and have no stock. You will find that the replacement sent will be the style fitted to the 16v engine that has a longer engine block and different shape sump.

26 de abr. de 2007 · I just got a 2002 Fiat Punto for my daughter. When she pushed the rear washer switch forward, it blew the fuse for both front and rear wipers. I have checked both the motor and pump and both seem to be fine. Is it possible that a faulty switch is causing this, appreciate the help.

In fact, it went through a phase of stalling when you tried to engage 1st or reverse gears and the car would try and move with the clutch fully depressed.
