Re: DESMUME running slow as fuck on Windows 10. then try other exact things listed in the thread besides those you quoted, change your OS power options to high performance, make sure it's using the discrete GPU if you have discrete+integrated, and blow the dust out of your fans. 5 de jan. de 2009 · I am running windows 10 pro x64 bit, if that could make a difference. I've tried using Source Forge's 5.1.5 dll of lua51.dll, still no dice. I have set the path to the containing folder of lua51.dll. I have put lua51 in the directory of the emulator as well. I have tried many versions of 9.11, 9.12, and 9.7, no dice.
23 de ago. de 2015 · Registered: 2011-06-04. Posts: 380. Only the latest release of DeSmuME (v0.9.11 as of today) is supported. Older versions are not supported. Also, DeSmuME certainly loads ROMs. Try loading ROMs that aren't Pokemon-series ROMs and see if the problem still persists. Offline.
29 de nov. de 2020 · Run Desmume emulator. Open CONFIG menu and select PATH SETTINGS. Under "R4 cheats database file name", select USRCHEAT.DAT and click OK. 5. Next job, play Pokemon Platinum (depend region are you using likes USA, Europe etc) and pause the game. 6. Open Tools menu, select Cheats and select List.

18 de set. de 2023 · If you don't delete or move anything, you can't permanently lose anything. Download everything again and dearchive it to a folder on your desktop (instead of wherever you put it before). Don't run desmume from the zipfile. Dearchive everything. Now confirm you can save and get back into the game.
2 de ago. de 2018 · Desmume 0.9.12 with working WiFi. Hi, I created a separate branch in a proper fork of desmume to test WiFi fixes from Desmume-Reloaded by Jackobo Le Chocobo. I applied the relevant fixes to snapshot of master branch taken at 22/06/2018. Please review the branch with working WiFi here:

Waiting for a blue screen is not a useful test of whether windows 11 introduces incompatibilities with a program like desmume but rather only whether it installed buggy drivers or is unstable all on its own. The only useful test would be whether it boots at all and whether all its features work.
