6 de jul. de 2023 · In fact, it borders on boring, something you shouldn't be able to say about a Bond movie. It also takes itself far too seriously, so it's not particularly enjoyable or entertaining to watch. These two factors alone lead me to call Casino Royale overrated, especially since so many people seem to think that it's one of the best Bond movies ever.
In Casino Royale (2006), the shot of James Bond emerging from the sea was taken by accident. According to Daniel Craig, the shot occurred because he swam into an awkwardly sited sand bank and was forced to walk to shore.

My retro review of the 2006 film, Casino Royale. This is one of my favorite movies of all time. Not only is it a great action movie, it is easily the best James Bond movie. The plot it tight and flows well, it’s stylishly filmed, and the acting is incredible. Casino Royale is the 21st film in the Bond series but somehow feels the most fresh.
16 de abr. de 2014 · I've played just enough poker to find a scene in Casino Royale to be a little more than a nitpick/head-scratcher: The relevant background and facts: It was a winner-take-all tournament, i.e. 10 men enter, only one winner leaves. "If you're not in first, you're last."

They invest in puts (betting against the stock) of an airline that’s premiering a new plane. Spectre’s plan is to blow up the plane at its debut which would cause the stock to plummet and make them a lot of money.
